About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises. The team member will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and ensure the store is clean and safe for customers and staff. This includes tasks like collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and mopping floors, cleaning assigned areas, and deep cleaning key areas such as bathrooms and breakrooms. The position also involves maintaining positive interactions, projecting a positive image, and completing assigned tasks in accordance with guidelines and company policies. Additional duties may include providing check-out experiences, promoting loyalty programs, assisting with omnichannel processes, participating in stocking and planogram processes, and supporting safety and shrink programs.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
Collect and dispose of trash.
Dust and damp mop floors.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning.
Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, high traffic areas).
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
Notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check-out experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
