About The Position

The Retail Store Cleaning Associate maintains a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating floor-cleaning equipment and completing routine cleaning, recovery, and organizational tasks throughout the store. The associate follows company standards for customer experience, health and safety, merchandising, operations, and loss prevention, and is cross-trained to support multiple store areas and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards, including operating and maintaining the scrubber and buffer.
• Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot-clean glass and windows.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards throughout the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
• Refill essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End in accordance with health and safety policies.
• Work in other store areas, including the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor, as needed.
• Support and respond to Front End coverage needs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Follow operational and loss prevention controls, including shrink-reduction guidelines.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
• Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break period policies.
• Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
• Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
