About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Concierge Security Officer for grocery store and other customer-facing environments. The role emphasizes customer service and building reassuring, confident connections with people. Officers welcome visitors, manage access, patrol, respond to incidents, and help protect people and property. Multiple openings are available at multiple locations. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Prior security experience is not required.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state license if required.
• Be able to walk and/or stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• Prior badging experience is a plus.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
• Create badges for customer employees, vendors, and guests.
• Use computers to type and learn new programs.
