About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit designated stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan barcodes throughout stores and are asked to report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

Associates perform in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Weekly work includes scanning displays throughout the store, which can take several hours, and completing Custom Projects that clients request for more specific information about products in main stocking locations. Custom Projects occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate data while working independently. The position involves continuous physical activity and offers some flexibility in scheduling.

This permanent part-time position averages 6–13 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. The listed Albuquerque grocery stores have available workdays of Wednesday and Thursday; full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet high, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
