About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit designated local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on a mobile phone and provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

This is a permanent, part-time position involving weekly in-store data collection at assigned retailers for 52 weeks per year, including holiday weeks. Store types include grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise retailers. Associates complete storewide display scanning each week and may also perform Custom Projects, which are requested frequently and typically add 1–2 hours of work per store in those weeks. Base hours vary by store size and workload; scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. Additional project hours are frequently assigned throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June.

Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work dependably and accurately. The role offers independence and some flexibility in scheduling. The specified route is a mass retailer in Lagrange, Georgia, with a route day of Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.

Responsibilities
