About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to collect data that is analyzed to improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates also report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

The role involves completing display scans throughout the entire store every week and carrying out custom projects that provide more detailed product information in main stocking locations. Custom projects occur almost every week and may add 1–2 hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work dependably and accurately. Work is performed at designated stores, with continuous physical activity throughout the shift.

The position is permanent and part-time. Base hours average 3–4.5 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional project hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. The work is scheduled weekly for 52 weeks per year, including holiday weeks. Scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. The role offers some flexibility in hours, subject to client requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet high, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
