About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on their mobile phone and are asked to provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

Associates complete weekly store-wide display scans and may also perform Custom Projects, which provide more specific information about products in main stocking locations. These projects occur almost every week and can add 1 to 2 hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently. The role involves assigned stores and an average base workload of 3 to 4.5 hours per week across all stores; additional project work is frequently assigned, particularly from January through June. Work is performed throughout the year, including holiday weeks. Schedules are reviewed during the interview.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Must be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
