About The Position

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to collect in-store product data at assigned local retailers each week, 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Associates visit designated stores and use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They also provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates complete weekly Display Scanning across the entire store, which can take several hours. Custom Projects that request additional product details occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet the described reporting deadlines and deliver reliable, accurate work. The role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in scheduling. Base hours average 6–15 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload; additional project hours are frequently assigned, particularly from January through June. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

The route includes grocery stores in Honey Brook, Thorndale, and East Fallowfield Township, and convenience stores in Downingtown, Kennett Square, and Thorndale. Workdays vary by store. This is a permanent part-time position with continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to remain on one's feet for long periods while accessing products throughout a store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Tech savvy.
