About The Position

Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to collect in-store product data. They use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps, and report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. Collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates complete weekly display scans across the entire store and may also perform custom projects requested by clients. These projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently. The role involves continuous physical activity and is a permanent part-time position averaging 2–5 base hours per week across stores, with additional hours frequently assigned for special projects. The role operates throughout the year, including holiday weeks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
