About The Position

Hancock Claims Consultants specializes in ladder assist and property inspection services, working directly with insurance agencies to support efficient claims management. The company provides nationwide claims inspections, including rapid catastrophe response and direct inspections.

As a Roof Field Inspector, you will work as an independent contractor conducting assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage, and performing underwriting property inspections. Using technology, inspectors help assess property damage and prevent further harm until permanent repairs are completed.

Requirements

• Ability to safely navigate and inspect any type of roof, particularly steep and high roofs.
• Technical ability to complete inspections in varied weather conditions.
• Professionalism and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills and empathy when dealing with insureds.
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
• Reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting and carrying at least a 32-foot ladder.
• Lidar-equipped device or ability to obtain one, such as an iPad Pro or iPhone 12 Pro or newer.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to obtain any required certifications or credentials to join the contractor pool.

Nice To Haves

• Roofing or construction-related background and/or insurance claims experience.
• HAAG Certification.
