Field Roof Inspector (El Paso, TX)
About The Position
Hancock Claims Consultants specializes in ladder assist and property inspection services, collaborating with insurance agencies to support efficient claims management. The company provides nationwide claims inspections, including catastrophe response and direct inspections. As a Field Roof Inspector, you will work as an independent contractor conducting assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage, and performing underwriting property inspections. Using inspection technology, you will help assess property damage and prevent further harm until permanent repairs are completed. The position is based in El Paso, Texas.
Requirements
- Ability to safely navigate and inspect any type of roof, particularly steep and high roofs.
- Technical ability to complete inspections in varied weather conditions.
- Professionalism, attention to detail, strong customer service skills, empathy when dealing with insureds, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting and carrying at least a 32-foot ladder.
- Must have a LiDAR-equipped device or be able to obtain one, such as an iPad Pro or iPhone 12 Pro or greater.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
- Ability to obtain any certifications or credentials required to join the contractor pool.
Nice To Haves
- Roofing or construction-related background and/or insurance claims experience.
- HAAG Certification.
