About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to collect in-store product data by scanning barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned.

This permanent, part-time role involves weekly visits to assigned stores for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Display scanning is completed throughout the store and can take several hours; client-requested Custom Projects occur almost every week and may add 1–2 hours per store. Additional special projects are frequently assigned during the year, with higher demand from January through June. Base weekly hours vary according to store size and workload; scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

Associates must meet weekly deadlines and deliver dependable, quality-driven work. The position offers workplace independence and some flexibility in hours. Work involves continuous physical activity throughout the shift. The listed route includes stores in Layton, Clearfield, and Kaysville, Utah, on specified days of the week.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
