About The Position

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to collect in-store data at assigned local retailers each week throughout the year, including holiday weeks. Associates visit designated stores and use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They also report quantities for about 45% of scanned products. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

The position averages 9–14 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Special projects are frequently assigned, typically adding 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work dependably and accurately. The role involves sustained physical activity throughout the shift and offers workplace independence and some flexibility in scheduling.

The route includes grocery stores in Brigham City, Hyrum, and Tremonton, Utah. Available workdays vary by store: Wednesday or Thursday in Brigham City, Tuesday or Wednesday in Hyrum, and Wednesday or Thursday in Tremonton. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.

Responsibilities
