About The Position

The Vendor Paid Merchandise Selling Support Colleague supports customers with product selection, applies merchandise standards, and maintains selling-floor presentations for the vendor or brand they represent. As a product expert for the vendor, the colleague contributes to a memorable customer experience and keeps the shopping environment neat, clean, and organized. The position includes customer-facing sales support, merchandise presentation, floor recovery, and collaboration with vendor and Macy’s colleagues.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Make the customer the top priority.
• Use product knowledge to increase sales by educating and assisting customers with product choices.
• Help maintain and recover the selling floor, ensuring sizes, colors, and styles are available.
• Maintain appropriate selling-floor presentations by promoting events and merchandise assortments.
• Keep fitting rooms customer-ready by clearing brand-specific merchandise and returning it to the appropriate selling-floor area.
• Provide a friendly and helpful customer experience.
• Execute Macy’s initiatives to drive business and meet or exceed department goals.
• Communicate with vendors, Customer Experience Managers, Omni Operations Managers, and Style Merchandise Managers about sales support and event promotions.
• Follow safety and security policies and procedures.
• Complete other customer-facing tasks as needed.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Foster acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
