About The Position

The Vendor Paid Selling Specialist is affiliated with a specific brand and uses vendor product knowledge and strong selling skills to drive brand revenue. The role creates an enhanced shopping experience, provides exceptional service, and prioritizes customers. The specialist advocates for customers and communicates customer opportunities to store leadership and vendor representatives. This position is seasonal and full-time at the Roosevelt location, with hours dependent on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of previous merchandising or retail experience.
Ability to communicate and present information effectively to customers, peers, and all levels of management.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and the ability to use a calculator.
Self-starter.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time-management skills.
Ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner.
Comfort with computers and frequent use of RF equipment.
Flexible schedule and availability to work retail hours, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Deliver a memorable customer experience.
Drive vendor sales by consistently demonstrating exceptional selling skills.
Partner with the Customer Experience Manager to identify opportunities that drive top-line sales.
Ensure the customer is always the priority.
Use product knowledge to educate and assist customers in making the best choice and increase sales.
Convert customers into clients.
Maintain high customer-readiness standards and a clean, neat, easy-to-shop store environment.
Ensure shortage-prevention initiatives are executed.
Perform other customer-facing, vendor-specific duties as needed and other duties as assigned.
Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Foster acceptance and respect to strengthen relationships and support authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
