About The Position

The Retail Sales Operator directs customer service and all retail sales outlet operations. This hourly position requires competency in on-the-job activities that may directly or indirectly affect product safety, legality, or quality, and constant interaction with the work group and other departments at the primary work location. The role also serves as a lead person.

Requirements

No educational prerequisite; must demonstrate the ability to read, write, perform basic math, and record job-related information.
Completion of a formal management skills training program.

One or more years of retail and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Inventory incoming product.
Inventory stock to meet consumer demand.
Maintain proper product rotation and freshness.
Direct shelf stocking according to established standards.
Maintain positive relationships with retail customers.
Operate the cash register and accurately maintain and record sales receipts.
Maintain accurate inventory and other records.
Serve as a lead person.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including those concerning equal employment opportunity, harassment, safety, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Perform other duties considered integral to the job, including fulfilling work schedules and complying with attendance policies and applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.
