About The Position

The Retail Sales Lead is a full-time hourly supervisory position responsible for providing exceptional, solution-oriented customer service and leading the store team to deliver the Duluth Trading Company customer experience. The role supports store operations, merchandise presentation, sales execution, employee feedback and training, cash handling, and store safety and security.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop strong familiarity with the Duluth brand and product knowledge to provide friendly, solution-oriented customer service, and lead the team in doing the same.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service and engagement and set expectations for the team.
• Manage floor coverage to engage customers and deliver the Duluth experience.
• Ensure customer profile information is recorded accurately.
• Respond proactively to customer concerns, provide positive resolutions, and make decisions as appropriate.
• Maintain merchandise presentation according to visual merchandising standards, floor sets, and product messaging, and keep the sales floor customer-ready.
• Set up sales and promotions with appropriate signage and communication.
• Execute and supervise merchandise receipts and transfers, including check-in, hanging, steaming, and sales-floor presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area.
• Provide employees with clear and consistent feedback on a regular basis.
• Follow company guidelines, policies, and programs and set a positive example.
• Understand, execute, and train employees on cash-handling and reporting functions.
• Process register functions and ensure they are followed in the store.
• Ensure the store is secured and respond to alarms as directed.
• Help ensure the safety of employees and customers and communicate concerns to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as directed.
