Bilingual Punjabi Retail Sales Consultant
About The Position
AT&T is hiring a Punjabi- and English-speaking Retail Sales Consultant for its Yuba City, California location. The role requires in-office presence at least five days per week, and relocation is not offered. Qualified bilingual hires may receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus, subject to language assessment, location, eligibility, and repayment terms. Additional starting pay may be available for bilingual employees. The consultant builds customer relationships through personalized, consultative sales and helps customers choose from AT&T products and services. The role also involves meeting sales targets, earning commission, participating in community events, filling online orders, and making outbound calls to current and prospective customers. AT&T provides tools, training, and coaching to help employees succeed. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, with shifts between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., including weekends. Monthly seniority-based schedules are provided two weeks in advance. Hourly pay is $21.43–$24.95, with $13,700 in commissions if all sales goals are met; uncapped commissions can result in top sellers earning $62,460 per year. Individual starting pay may vary based on geography, experience, expertise, and education or training.
Requirements
- Speak Punjabi and English.
- Qualify on AT&T’s language assessment to be eligible for the bilingual sign-on bonus.
- Be available for a schedule between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., including weekends.
- Be present in the office at least five days per week.
