About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, maintain inventory, support sales and store operations, and contribute to a knowledgeable, positive retail environment. The role includes assisting with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position is described as full-time with a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures, and support smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
