About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find parts and solutions for automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, offer automotive advice, support sales, and help maintain store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service by meeting customer needs and supporting a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes assisting customers with automotive products, completing basic installations, and supporting store operations and sales.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily work.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures, and support smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
