About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and offer automotive advice while supporting sales and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service, contributes to a positive retail environment, and supports customers with automotive needs. The role includes recommending products and promotions, maintaining merchandise, assisting with basic installations, and using diagnostic tools to help identify vehicle issues.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates and support team members in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, and follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Follow structured work processes and company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
