About The Position

AutoZone store teams deliver customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining well-stocked inventory, and providing product guidance. The Retail Sales Associate supports sales and daily store operations while fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes recommending products and promotions, keeping merchandise organized, assisting with select installations, and using diagnostic tools to help customers identify vehicle issues.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, handle cash properly, follow loss prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using established processes and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
