As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create positive holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and personal service to build trust and loyalty, and work toward sales goals. The role also involves keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for each day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, popular items, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. During the day, they welcome and assist customers, maintain merchandise presentation, process damages and merchandise for vendor return, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, help customers complete their shopping experience, and collaborate with teammates to deliver individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability. The position requires flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as dependable attendance and punctuality. It involves frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and physical activities such as standing, lifting, moving, reaching, and climbing ladders.
