Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support sales and daily store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service by assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, and contributing to store performance. The role also involves restocking and organizing merchandise, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, complying with safety policies and using PPE, learning about automotive products and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Flexible schedule availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. This is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated, productive store environment.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following structured processes and company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
