About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining well-stocked inventory, and offering product guidance. The Retail Sales Associate helps deliver WOW! Customer Service, supports store operations and sales, and contributes to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes assisting customers, recommending products and promotions, restocking merchandise, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The position requires schedule flexibility, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated and productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow safety policies and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
