About The Position

American Residential Services (ARS), the nation’s largest provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services, is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to work inside major home improvement retail locations. This high-energy sales role centers on engaging customers, generating leads, and setting appointments by introducing homeowners to ARS home comfort solutions, energy-saving upgrades, and indoor air quality services.

The role is based in Smyrna and Murfreesboro, Tennessee, with a required weekly team meeting at the Nashville branch. The listed full-time schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour plus commission, with typical earnings of $20–$30 per hour with incentives. ARS offers weekly direct deposit, uncapped commission, paid training, and a potential career path into HVAC Sales Advisor roles. Requirements

• Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Start friendly, face-to-face conversations with shoppers about home comfort, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality.
• Represent ARS as a brand ambassador by educating customers on heating and cooling services and home improvement solutions.
• Generate leads and schedule free in-home consultations.
• Enter customer information and book appointments for ARS specialists.
• Maintain a professional and positive in-store presence representing ARS.
• Support in-store promotions alongside retail management and ARS team members.
