Temporary Retail Sales Associate
About The Position
The Temporary Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; accurately processes customer purchases and returns; promotes credit and loyalty programs; and follows merchandising and merchandise-processing procedures. The associate also participates in store recovery, cleanliness, safety awareness, and shrink-reduction efforts, follows applicable labor laws and company policies, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience and model established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, company policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
