Temporary Retail Sales Associate
About The Position
The Temporary Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. This role supports store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; handles customer purchases and returns accurately; promotes credit and loyalty programs; and processes, merchandises, and recovers merchandise according to company procedures. The associate helps maintain store cleanliness and safety, supports shrink-reduction goals, follows labor laws and policies, and performs other duties as assigned. The position is at the TJ Maxx store at 1125 Woodstock Rd, Roswell, Georgia. Starting pay is $13.25–$13.75 per hour, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. The role is temporary and requires a flexible schedule to support business needs.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide the correct change according to established procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
