About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate provides fast, friendly service to customers and donors and helps create a friendly, clean, and safe atmosphere where they feel welcome and comfortable. The role supports store operations, donation processing, merchandise organization, and fundraising for AbleLight. Additional duties may be assigned during the workday.

Requirements

• Must be 14 years or older.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Able to stand for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to customers professionally.
• Assist donors with donations by transferring merchandise from donor vehicles to the building and offering tax receipts to every donor.
• Keep the inside and outside of the donation center organized and clean.
• Assist with stocking the sales floor, rotating stock, and organizing and displaying merchandise.
• Support fundraising for AbleLight through register round-ups and other events initiated by AbleLight.
