About The Position
The Yankee Candle Retail Sales Associate helps deliver an exceptional guest experience and drive sales growth. The role contributes to a welcoming store environment, uses product knowledge to understand guest needs and build emotional connections, and applies company selling strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty. The associate supports the Store Manager and team, maintains store appearance, assists with inventory and expense control, and follows safety, loss prevention, company policy, and Code of Ethics requirements. The position requires working in a fragrance-filled environment and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to a welcoming store environment focused on an exceptional guest experience.
- Understand guest needs through product knowledge and make emotional connections.
- Implement company selling strategies, maximize sales potential, and build customer relationships that enhance loyalty.
- Promote guest loyalty through the Rewards Loyalty program and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Help maintain store appearance in accordance with visual standards, including plan-o-grams, visual maintenance, signage, and cleanliness.
- Support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team that represents Newell Brand Values.
- Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and effective communication.
- Support inventory management activities and control expenses.
- Incorporate safety and loss prevention into daily activities and follow company policies and the Code of Ethics.
- Work toward achieving or exceeding KPI goals through planning, execution, and continuous performance improvement.
