About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; follows established procedures for ringing purchases and returns; and promotes credit and loyalty programs. The position also involves processing merchandise, maintaining store recovery and cleanliness standards, supporting shrink-reduction and safety programs, and complying with labor laws, policies, and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
