About The Position

The Store Sales Associate works at The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Nicollet, combining customer service and retail operations to support the organization’s community programs. The role helps create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors and turns donated goods into resources that support the Salvation Army’s mission. The position is part-time, 25 hours per week, with a pay rate of $16.37 per hour. POS system training is provided, with expected proficiency within three months, along with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Requirements

High school diploma or currently pursuing a high school diploma.
Strong English communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, offer assistance, and provide exceptional customer service.

Clean, organize, and restock the store to maintain its appearance.
Process and display new merchandise to help meet daily production goals.
