About The Position
EZCORP is hiring a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service Team Member (Pawnbroker) for its EZPawn store in West Valley City, Utah. The role offers pay of $14.00 to $15.00 per hour based on experience, monthly uncapped bonuses based on store and individual performance, and a structured career path in a fast-paced retail environment. New hires begin as trainees in a five-week paid training program; completion includes a $0.50-per-hour raise and promotion to Pawnbroker. Employees may continue through the Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1 per hour and pursue advancement to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader) or Assistant Manager, which includes a six-month training program. The position involves daily customer interaction, helping customers with sales and reaching mutually satisfying agreements on pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. Team members provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful customer experience, process sales and loans, and perform store opening and closing duties. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask.
- Self-motivated, positive, and outgoing personality with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test after a conditional offer.
- Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities
