About The Position

As a Sales Associate at Sunglass Hut, you will provide an exceptional shopping experience that encourages positive customer connections and brand loyalty. You will welcome and serve customers, help maintain store visual standards and stocking levels, resolve customer issues, and provide attentive assistance to VIP clientele. You will stay informed about the product assortment, follow management instructions and company policies, occasionally assist with opening and closing duties, attend occasional work meetings, and represent the brand within the local and broader community. The role is seasonal/temporary.

Requirements

• One year of previous sales or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while remaining committed to an excellent customer experience.
• Self-motivated team player.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers to promote an excellent customer experience.
• Inform merchandisers or managers about stocking needs.
• Maintain visual standards set by management and the company.
• Problem-solve customer issues and involve management for assistance when needed.
• Provide high-touch service in complex situations involving VIP clientele and support VIP retention.
• Stay up to date on the current product assortment and serve as an informed brand ambassador.
• Listen to and act on instructions from management or a superior.
• Occasionally assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Comply with professional regulations, internal rules, and the company’s and management’s code of conduct.
• Attend and participate in occasional work meetings.
• Be punctual for shifts and proactively communicate obstacles to the manager.
• Represent the brand by drawing on personal style and connections to the local and broader communities.
