About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate provides fast, friendly service to customers and donors and helps create a welcoming, clean, and safe atmosphere. The role supports store operations, donation processing, merchandise organization, and fundraising for the AbleLight charity. Other duties may be assigned during the workday.

Requirements

• Must be 14 years or older.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Able to stand on your feet for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to customers professionally.
• Assist donors with donations by transferring merchandise from their vehicles into the building and offering tax receipts to every donor.
• Keep the inside and outside of the donation center organized and clean.
• Assist with stocking the sales floor, stock rotation, displays, and merchandise organization.
• Support fundraising for the AbleLight charity through register round-ups and other events initiated by AbleLight.
