About The Position
Sun Tan City is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate for its Goodlettsville salon. The role focuses on providing professional customer service, building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending products and services. Associates work in a fast-paced, upbeat salon environment, meet minimum sales requirements, and help maintain salon cleanliness. The position may require working independently and alone during shifts as business needs require. Sun Tan City is part of Glow Brands, a family-owned company with approximately 250 salons in 20 states and more than 2,200 employees. Requirements
- Basic computer skills and knowledge.
- Ability to provide professional customer service and engage with clients.
- Ability to make product and service recommendations.
- Ability to meet minimum sales requirements.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from floors.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met professionally.
- Engage with clients, build relationships, and understand and meet their needs.
- Recommend products and services to clients.
- Meet minimum sales requirements.
- Multitask by cleaning tanning beds as clients leave while engaging new clients as they arrive.
- Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
- Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
- Work independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.
