About The Position

Sun Tan City is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for a high-energy salon environment. The role involves providing friendly, professional service, understanding clients’ needs, and recommending products and services. Associates work with teammates to maintain sales requirements and keep the salon clean, while following company policies and procedures. The position may require working independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from floors.
Ability to perform salon cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met professionally.
Build good relationships with clients and understand and meet their needs.
Recommend products and services.
Maintain minimum sales requirements.
Clean tanning beds as clients leave while engaging with new clients as they arrive.
Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
Use basic computer skills and knowledge.
