About The Position
Sun Tan City is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate in Frankfort, Kentucky. The role focuses on providing professional customer service, building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending products and services. Associates work in a positive, fast-paced salon environment, maintain sales requirements, and help keep salon spaces clean. The position offers a base pay of $11.50 per hour or more, with performance bonuses; average earnings of $15.50 per hour are not guaranteed and depend on meeting performance and training criteria. Requirements
- Basic computer skills and knowledge.
- Ability to provide professional customer service and build client relationships.
- Ability to make product and service recommendations and meet minimum sales requirements.
- Ability to multitask and work cohesively with a team in a fast-paced salon environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment and bend down to pick up items from floors.
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
- Ability to perform cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients' needs are met professionally.
- Engage with clients, build good relationships, and understand and meet their needs.
- Recommend products and services to clients.
- Meet minimum sales requirements.
- Multi-task, including cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging with new clients as they arrive.
- Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
- Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
