About The Position

Sun Tan City is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate in Georgetown, Kentucky. The position offers base pay of $11.50 per hour or more, with performance bonuses; the stated average earnings of $15.50 per hour are not guaranteed and reflect team members who meet performance and training criteria. The role focuses on providing professional customer service, building relationships with clients, recommending products and services, meeting minimum sales requirements, and keeping the salon clean. Associates work with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon and may also work independently during a shift when business needs require. Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to provide professional customer service and engage with clients to understand and meet their needs.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from floors.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent, professional customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met.
Build positive client relationships and understand and meet clients’ needs.
Recommend products and services to clients.
Maintain the minimum sales requirements.
Multitask by cleaning tanning beds as clients leave while engaging new clients upon arrival.
Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in a fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
Work independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.
