About The Position

Retail Sales Associates provide fast, friendly service to customers and donors and help create a friendly, clean, and safe atmosphere where people feel welcome and comfortable. The role supports retail store operations, donation processing, merchandise organization, and fundraising for AbleLight. Additional duties may be assigned during the workday.

Requirements

• Must be 14 years or older.
• Able to lift 40 pounds.
• Able to stand for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Answer telephone inquiries and respond to customers professionally.
• Assist donors with donations by transferring merchandise from their vehicles into the building and offering tax receipts to every donor.
• Keep the inside and outside of the donation center organized and clean.
• Assist with stocking the sales floor, stock rotation, displays, and merchandise organization.
• Support fundraising for AbleLight through register round-ups and other events initiated by AbleLight.
• Perform other duties assigned during the workday.
