About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate, identified internally as a Front End Specialist, assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role is responsible for customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with a primary focus on front-end operations. Associates are expected to embody Ollie’s core values: teamwork, care, value, commitment, growth, and authenticity.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and a team-oriented approach to engaging with and serving customers.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays regularly.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of prior retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter and exit the store and approach the front end.
• Operate the register accurately and efficiently.
• Approve refunds for other Associates.
• Assist with training new Associates.
• Learn current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs throughout the year.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store’s appearance and complete additional assigned responsibilities.
