About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate, internally classified as a Front End Specialist 1, assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role is responsible for customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with a primary focus on front-end operations. Associates are expected to reflect Ollie’s values by working as a supportive team, treating others with courtesy and respect, focusing on value, showing commitment, continually improving, and acting honestly and genuinely.

Requirements

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player while engaging with and serving customers.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter and exit the store and approach the front end.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Know current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs throughout the year.
• Assist with truck receiving, pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store’s appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
