Retail Sales Associate
About The Position
As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of Best Buy for customers who visit its stores. Best Buy provides training in the skills and knowledge needed to recommend technology products and services that meet customers’ needs. This role is suited to people interested in sales or helping others. The associate welcomes and assists customers, demonstrates products, answers questions, makes recommendations across departments, completes cashier duties, maintains product knowledge through ongoing learning, helps keep the sales floor clean and stocked, and assists with in-store and curbside pickup orders.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of experience working in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner.
- Perform product demonstrations, answer questions, and recommend products and services that meet customers’ needs across departments.
- Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain appropriate product knowledge and expertise through ongoing learning and development.
- Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked.
- Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders.
