About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate, internally classified as a Zone Specialist, assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role is responsible for customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with a primary focus on an assigned store zone. Associates are expected to embody Ollie’s values: teamwork, care, value obsession, commitment, growth, and authenticity.

Requirements

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to interact well with customers and associates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and recover all products in the assigned zone according to visual merchandising standards.
• Know current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Assist with receiving truck deliveries, pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
• Keep the assigned zone neat and organized.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
