About The Position

As a Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. You use product knowledge and customer engagement to meet sales goals, build trust, and encourage loyalty. You also help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment.

Requirements

Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
Willingness to meet daily sales goal challenges.
Enjoyment of meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
Resourcefulness and eagerness to begin a new venture, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
Comfort using electronic devices.
Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Ability to frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations that build customer relationships.
Understand customer needs and provide personalized recommendations about products and services.
Work toward sales goals by using customer engagement and effective selling behaviors.
Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
Keep the sales floor and fitting rooms clean, organized, and shoppable by recovering merchandise, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
Share the benefits of the Loyalty program, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their visit.
Collaborate with colleagues and support one another in serving customers and communities.
Use electronic devices, computers, handheld equipment, and cash registers to perform job functions and process transactions.
