About The Position

EZCORP is hiring a Retail Sales Associate, also described in the posting as a Retail Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker), for its EZPawn store at 6003 Bellaire, Houston, Texas. The role provides daily customer interaction in a fast-paced retail environment. Team Members help customers with sales and work toward mutually satisfying agreements involving pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. They are expected to provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful experience.

The position offers a structured career path. New hires begin as Trainees in a five-week paid training program and receive a $0.50-per-hour raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. Team Members may continue through the Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1 per hour, pursue Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Manager) opportunities, and apply for a Store Manager in Training position that includes a 12-week training program.

The stated pay range is $11.00 to $15.00 per hour, based on experience. The posting also advertises monthly uncapped bonus potential based on store and individual performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities
