About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, and contribute to sales and store operations. The role involves providing automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, maintaining inventory and store organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Associates work with managers and teammates in a customer-focused retail environment and use AutoZone systems to keep their automotive product and promotion knowledge current. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and have flexible availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Basic automotive-parts knowledge, automotive retail experience, strong communication skills in English and Spanish, and ASE certification are preferred. Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated, productive store environment.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies; and support smooth store operations.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes and follow safety policies, including using required personal protective equipment.
Use AutoZone systems to stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
