About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position supports a positive store culture grounded in honesty, integrity, and respect. It also includes processing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and participating in store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers while modeling established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
