Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain well-stocked inventory, and support sales and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service by helping customers select products, providing automotive advice, and contributing to a positive and knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes merchandise restocking, point-of-sale procedures, safety compliance, learning about parts and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Flexible schedule availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated, productive store environment.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following structured processes and company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
