About The Position

Soccer Village is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate at its Carmel, Indiana store. The role supports daily retail operations and helps provide customers with a positive shopping experience. Associates greet and assist customers in person and by phone, maintain and organize merchandise on the sales floor, process transactions through the Point-of-Sale system, work with coworkers and supervisors to support a positive store environment, and help meet sales goals while promoting soccer products. The work takes place in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable retail store. The position requires regular talking or hearing, frequent use of hands and fingers, and occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. The job description notes that duties may include other job-related tasks as assigned and that reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
A customer-service focus and willingness to help customers.

Responsibilities

Proactively greet and assist customers in the store and over the phone.
